Editorial Policy

Our guides aim to help readers make a clear, practical decision about their space.

How we approach content

We begin with the task a reader wants to make easier. Organization articles explain a method and its limitations. Product guides, when published, should identify the selection criteria and distinguish manufacturer specifications from editorial judgment.

Research and testing

The launch guides on this site are general organization guidance, not hands-on product tests. We use the words “tested” or “hands-on” only when we can describe what was tested, how it was tested, and the relevant limitations. We do not invent performance scores, customer reviews, or personal experiences.

Product information and availability

Dimensions, materials, compatibility, care instructions, and installation requirements should be checked against the manufacturer’s information. Prices, stock, delivery terms, Prime eligibility, and return policies may change; check the retailer’s current listing before purchase.

Images and AI assistance

Lifestyle photographs illustrate a room or idea unless a caption explicitly identifies a particular product. They do not establish product performance. AI tools may assist with drafting, organization, and design; AI-generated text is not evidence of a product test.

Commercial links

We may receive commissions from clearly identified affiliate links. We aim to explain tradeoffs and recommend trying a simple existing solution when buying is unnecessary. See our affiliate disclosure.

Updates and corrections

We aim to correct material errors when identified. Individual articles may be revised as their information changes. Current public contact availability is shown on our contact page.
