5 Under-Sink Organizers Compared: Dimensions, Access & Fit

The right under-sink organizer depends on the clear space beside your pipes, not the biggest storage capacity in a product title. These five options solve different access problems. Use the measurements below to rule out unsuitable shapes before comparing prices.

The short answer

A turntable needs a clear circle; a rolling caddy needs a clear floor lane; an installed pull-out needs a clear moving path and suitable mounting. When none of those fits, two small removable bins can be a better starting point than a larger system.

Five under-sink organizers at a glance

Dimensions are manufacturer-listed exterior measurements in inches, normalized here as width × depth × height. Minimum openings and operating clearances are separate requirements. Bottle height is additional.

Measure the usable space, not just the cabinet

Write down the narrowest door opening, clear floor width, usable depth, and height below the basin. Mark pipes, hinges, valves, shelf supports, and the cabinet’s front lip. Then measure the bottles or other items you expect to put in the organizer.

Planning sketch only, not to scale. Real pipework may cross either lane; never assume the center is the only obstruction.

Next test movement. Lay down a paper footprint and move it through the opening. For a drawer, check the space needed outside the cabinet. For a turntable, test a complete rotation with the tallest and widest intended items. For a caddy, account for the lift over any front lip.

A simple fit calculation

Imagine a clear lane measuring 10 inches wide and 17 inches deep. A 9-by-20-inch organizer fails the depth check even though its width fits. A smaller listed footprint may pass that first check but still fail if the handle cannot clear a hinge. This is why a product’s advertised width is not enough to choose it.

The five options: strengths and fit tradeoffs

The order is for reading convenience, not a performance ranking. “Consider” below means the format may suit that cabinet layout; it does not mean we have installed or tested the product in your home.

01 · For rotating access

YouCopia SinkSuite Under Sink Turntable

Listed size: 12 W × 12 D × 3.3 H in

This round organizer suits a clear patch of cabinet floor where rotating bottles is more convenient than pulling out a drawer. YouCopia lists a 12-inch base, three movable dividers, and tool-free setup.

Our fit judgment: consider it when a clear circular footprint is available. Skip it when a pipe cuts across that circle or bottles cannot rotate without hitting the basin. A round base does not use rectangular corners as fully as a rectangular bin.

Why consider it

Movable dividers let you group bottles without a fixed compartment layout.

What could rule it out

Needs an unobstructed rotating footprint, including whatever bottles extend beyond the rim.

Before checkout: Dimensions describe the organizer; add the height of the bottles you plan to store.

02 · For a removable rolling bin

YouCopia RollOut Under Sink Caddy, 8-inch

Listed size: 7.7 W × 16.4 D × 5.3 H in; 21.3 D with basket

The current manufacturer page lists a rolling caddy with handles, two movable dividers, and an extra hanging basket. The body is 16.4 inches deep; the listed depth becomes 21.3 inches with the basket.

Our fit judgment: useful to investigate if you want to remove a whole group of supplies. The basket position and cabinet lip deserve particular attention. YouCopia instructs users to tilt the front slightly to roll it forward.

Why consider it

A removable arrangement can make it easier to clear the cabinet for access.

What could rule it out

The accessory basket changes the footprint; a raised cabinet lip may complicate rolling.

Before checkout: Retailer listings may show different revisions. Match the exact dimensions and accessories before ordering.

03 · For a narrow, long footprint

Joseph Joseph CupboardStore Easy-Access Storage Caddy

Listed size: 6.6 W × 18.2 D × 4.4 H in

The Stone version, model 8500022, has a main bottle compartment, a smaller front section, a pull lip, and wheels. Joseph Joseph lists a 6.6-inch width and 18.2-inch depth.

Our fit judgment: this shape is worth comparing when the usable lane beside your pipes is narrow but extends far back. It is less promising in a shallow vanity. Check where the front section will sit relative to the door and frame.

Why consider it

Separates smaller accessories from the main bottle compartment.

What could rule it out

The narrow width does not compensate for insufficient cabinet depth.

Before checkout: The 4.4-inch figure is the caddy height, not the clearance needed for loaded spray bottles.

04 · For a low, rectangular pull-out

simplehuman 9-inch Pull-Out Cabinet Organizer

Listed size: 9 W × 20 D × 6 H in

The manufacturer’s 9-inch model is SKU KT1118. Its dimension drawing shows a 9-inch width, 20-inch depth, and 6-inch height. The page describes a steel frame, a handle, and a drip guard.

Our fit judgment: compare this format if you prefer an installed pull-out and have a deep, clear route. It is not a substitute for checking the full installation instructions, mounting location, and clearance below the sink.

Why consider it

Low-sided access may suit a cabinet where a taller upper tier would collide with plumbing.

What could rule it out

Twenty inches of depth rules it out for many shallower bathroom cabinets.

Before checkout: A drip guard is not a repair for leaking plumbing or a guarantee against water damage.

05 · For an 18-inch-deep pull-out

LYNK Professional 451118 Under-Sink Cabinet Organizer

Listed size: 11.5 W × 18 D × 14 H in; minimum opening 12 in

LYNK lists model 451118 at 11.5 inches wide, 18 inches deep, and 14 inches high, with a minimum 12-inch cabinet opening. The manufacturer distinguishes this from its deeper 21-inch model.

Our fit judgment: investigate it when your cabinet has sufficient height and the plumbing leaves the upper portion clear. A 12-inch opening alone is not enough: check the pipe position along the organizer’s whole route.

Why consider it

The specified minimum opening gives you a useful first screening measurement.

What could rule it out

Fourteen inches of height can conflict with a basin or low pipework even when the footprint fits.

Before checkout: Confirm model 451118; the related 451121 has a different depth.

Which format should you choose?

If you rent or want a removable setup

Start by investigating freestanding or rolling formats. “No tools” does not mean “fits anywhere”: you still need the complete footprint, loaded height, and a way to lift or move the organizer. Check your own cabinet surface and any rental restrictions before attaching accessories.

If the cabinet is shallow

Measure from the point where the organizer would sit to the nearest rear obstruction. Do not use the countertop depth as a substitute. A shallower model can be worth investigating, but a small open bin may be the more useful choice when every drawer you compare needs extra travel or mounting room.

If plumbing occupies the middle

Measure each side independently. One side may accept a narrow caddy while the other only has room for a short removable bin. There is no need to force a symmetrical pair into an asymmetrical cabinet.

If you want more vertical storage

Check the upper level with a cardboard template at its proposed height. A rack can fit at floor level and collide with the basin above. Include the stored items, not only the rack: a spray nozzle or tall bottle can be the highest part of the loaded arrangement.

Final purchase check
  • Match the exact model, size, color, and included accessories.
  • Compare exterior size with the usable cabinet space and opening.
  • Read mounting, cleaning, and load instructions for that model.
  • Verify the live seller, price, stock, delivery, and return terms.
  • Start with one unit where fit is uncertain.

Questions before buying

Is there one best organizer for every under-sink cabinet?

No. Different pipe layouts and openings can reverse which format is useful. A high-capacity organizer that blocks access or does not move easily is a poor match for that cabinet.

Why are prices and star ratings not in the table?

This comparison focuses on fit and design. Prices, offers, and ratings change, and we have not established a live retailer data feed. Check the current listing rather than relying on a copied number.

Do the shopping links always open the exact product?

Two links point to identified Amazon product listings; the remaining links are labeled searches using the brand and model. Search results can include other sizes or substitutes, so match the model and specifications before purchase.

Can an organizer protect against leaks?

A tray or guard may help contain ordinary drips, but it is not a plumbing repair or a waterproofing guarantee. Address leaks before adding storage, and keep valves and inspection areas accessible.

How this comparison was prepared

We checked the five manufacturer pages linked in the product sections and simplehuman’s dimension drawing on October 20, 2026. Those sources support the listed measurements and described mechanisms. Our layout advice applies those measurements to hypothetical cabinets; it is original fit analysis rather than a report of hands-on testing.

We have not measured these samples ourselves, tested long-term durability, or verified every retailer’s current variant. A manufacturer page and a retailer listing can describe different revisions. If they disagree, resolve the exact version before ordering. See our editorial policy.
